November 2008 Email Received by another Idaho Lions Club from a School Administrator:
Thought you might want to know that the Lions Club screened 680 kids for us. It would have TAKEN MONTHS BEFORE WE WOULD HAVE BEEN ABLE TO DO ALL THOSE KIDS. We got a call from a mom this morning thanking us for referring her child to the doctor. The Dr. told her that had she not come when she did her child probably would have lost the sight in her right eye. So again thank you so very much and please know that we do appreciate you very much and need your help to get his job of vision testing done. (end of email) |
