The Burley Lions Club was established 1938 and has been working to enhance our community through service ever since. We are a very active local service club. We provide support to our community through financial contributions and hands on volunteer service projects. If you would like to join our club, and be part of the largest service club organization in world, please express that interest to any club member that you know in the community. If you see a need that needs attention within our community that you believe we might be able to help with, please let us know. We also sponsor a large Leo Club at Burley High School that seeks out opportunities to serve.

News/Announcements: 11/2007 Boise Cascade donates numerous eyeglasses collection boxes to the club and they are moved to storage 11/2007 Board approves donation toward the purchase of a Braille printer and software pending matching contributions from the Idaho Sight & Hearing Foundation. 10/2007 Donation made to the Burley Idaho Senior Center 10/2007 222 Pairs of eyeglasses sent to New Eyes for the Needy 10/2007 Donations Made to Cassia County Sherrif's Dept. and City of Burley Recreation Dept. 3/2007: Money was set aside for the repair of a roof on a small Lions Club building on the Cassia County Fairgrounds 3/2007: A donation was made to the Special Olympics 3/2007: A donation was made to the Idaho Folk Dance Festival 3/2007: The posts for the Lions Club Signs entering town have been set and are awaiting their signage. 3/2007: The club donated funds to sponsor a boy and girl at "Boys and Girls State" 3/2007: Burley Lions club donated 513 eyeglasses to New Eyes for the Needy last month! 3/1/2007: Burley Lions present a check to Middleton High School for $1000.00 toward the reconstruction of their school that burned down. The presentation made at a basketball game between Burley and Middleton at the Idaho State High School Basketball Tournament. Frames received from the Burley mall will be given to a Dr. William Aston (Optometrist) to take on his trip to Vietnam. Burley Lion Truman Bradley passed away on Monday November 20, 2006.
