Spudman Registration Going to a Lottery

When Spudman Registration opens on January 5th at Noon, it will REMAIN OPEN until April 15th. 


The race is going to a LOTTERY SYSTEM this year.  There is a $5.00 non-refundable charge to put your name in the metaphorical hat.  If your name is selected on April 15th, your credit card will be charged at  that time.  If your name is not selected, you will not be charged. 


We are again using Active.Com as our registration service.

Are you automatically admitting persons who participated in wave #7 of 2008 to automatically be registered in this years event without having to go through the lottory and are you waiving or reducing the registration fee for those people? Also, are division winners given any consideration towards registering in order to defend their title, or are they required to go through the lottory process?
