Registration for the lottery for entry the 2012 Race will be held in January 2012 through Active.com. The lottery registration will open on January 1 at 12:00am and close on January 31 at 11:59pm. The list of lottery winners will be posted on our website on February 15. Lottery winners will be notified by email and on the website. Make sure you check this website if you do not receive an email. Spam blockers prevent many from receiving the email. The lottery will cost $5 plus a small processing fee from Active.com.
Lottery winners will then be required to register for the race through Active.com (In March or April). The $5 lottery fee will be applied toward the $80 registration fee. (Active.com is not allowed to keep your credit card numbers and registering for the race is required for all lottery winners.) Once again, there are no refunds, exchanges or transfers allowed. We will try to complete registration by April 30, 2012.
Our team registrations have been reduced to $120 for two person and $160 for a 3 person team! Also, our waves will start every 10 minutes and the bike route will return to the course that we have done in prior years.
